Blue Chip Cookies
by Julie
My first bite of a Blue Chip was in December, 1987. I was in San Francisco for the holidays and was drawn into the store by the smell of baking cookies. The traditional chocolate chip variety seemed to be calling my name, so I bought 2 of them and headed back outside. The were so delicious, chewy and chocolatey. I stopped in every day that week for a cookie. My excuse was I wouldn't be able to have them again once I went back home.
Now that the Internet has really made the phrase "It's a small world after all" seem appropriate, I can have Blue Chip cookies delivered to my home whenever I have the craving. Since that first bite of the traditional chocolate chip I have developed some new favorite flavors. Almond Toffee Chip is now my favorite, followed by Coconut Chew Macadamia and the Blue Chip Royale, packed with white chocolate chips, almonds and brickle bits.
Blue Chip also has stores in other states including Connecticut, Ohio, Kentucky and Georgia. But it doesn't matter where you live because you can order online and have cookies delivered right to your doorstep.
