Sugar Free Brownies

1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups Splenda
1/4 cup sugar-free chocolate syrup
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.

In a medium saucepan melt butter and cocoa stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and set aside to cool for 5 minutes.

Add the eggs, splenda and chocolate syrup and beat until smooth and combine. Add remaining ingredients and stir until incorporated completely.

Turn into greased pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until brownies are set. A toothpick inserted in center should just have a little moist particles attached. If brownies are too wet they are not set enough.

Remove and cool completely before cutting into suares.

Makes 16 squares.
