Cookies and Cream Pie

1 purchased chocolate cookie crumb pie crust
2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 cup crushed oreo cookies

Place cream cheese in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar, blending well. Beat in vanilla, then fold in whipped topping and crushed Oreo cookies until combined. Turn mixture into cookie crust.

Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. Slice into wedges and serve with additional whipped topping or whipped cream. Makes 8 servings.
