Easy Baked Date Pudding

¼ cup flour
½ cup sugar
1 egg
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup of chopped dates
1 cup of chopped walnuts

Beat egg and add sugar, mixing well. Sift flour, sal, and baking powder together and mix with the dates and nuts. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients and mix well. Turn into a greased 8x5-inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
