Blackberry Cobbler

Filling
4 cups fresh blackberries
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter

Crust
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons milk

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Combine blackberries, sugar and 3 tablespoons flour. Spoon intoungreased 8-inch square baking dish and dot with butter.

Combine 1 cup of flour with 1/2 tsp. salt. Using pastry blender or two knives, cut 1/4 butter into flour until mixture is like coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle milk over dry mixture and mix with fork until dough forms, adding additional milk if needed. Form dough into a ball.

Roll dough on lightly floured surface into an 8-inch square and place over the blackberry mixture. Seal edges to side of pan. Cut several slits in crust top to vent steam. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Serve warm with ice cream.
