Chocolate Puff Treats

1 sheet frozen puff pastry
1/2 cup milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 Tbsp. raspberry jam
Granulated sugar

Preheat oven to 400°F. Defrost puff pastry until just soft, about 15 minutes at room temperature. Press dough seams together and roll out to even if necessary. Cut dough lengthwise into three strips, then cut each strip widthwise into three pieces for a total of 9 pieces.

Place about 1 tablespoon of chips in along one side of each piece of dough, keeping away from the edges. Top with about 1 teaspoon of jam.

Fold other half of dough over filing and pinch edges to seal package. Brush or rub a little water on the tops of each pastry and sprinkle with sugar. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until light brown and crispy. Serve warm.
