Whole Wheat Muffins

1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup molasses
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease 12 medium muffin tins.

Sift all-purpose flour, baking powder and salt into a medium bowl; stir in whole wheat flour. In another bowl combine molasses, sugar, egg, milk and melted butter. Add to flour mixutre and stir just until combined, do not over mix.

Spoon into 12 muffin tins and bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes or until done. Serve warm.
