Blueberry Muffins

2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup milk
5 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

Preheat oven to 400° F. Greese twelve muffin cups or line with paper liners.

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together. Mix milk, butter and egg together Pour liquid ingredients into flour mixture. Mix together only enough to blend. Gently fold blueberries batter.

Spoon batter into prepared muffin tins and bake in the preheated oven for 13-16 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
