Congo Bars
2/3 cup butter
2 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
3 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup butterscotch chips
Melt butter. Add brown sugar and cream well. Cool then add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in dry ingredients, nuts, and butterscotch chips. Spread batter into a greased, 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into squares to serve.
