Fudge Brownies

1 cup butter
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 cup flour
2 Tbsp. cocoa

In a medium, heavy, saucepan melt the butter and chocolate over low heat. Remove from heat while there are still some unmelted pieces of chocolate, and stir until completely melted and smooth. Add sugar directly into saucepan and stir well. Mix in eggs, vanilla and salt. Sift flour with cocoa and stir into chocolate mixture.

Pour into greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for about 25 minutes. Do not over bake. Brownies should be just set in the middle. Let cool in the pan and cut into squares.
