Pound Cake
2 cups flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup milk
Sift dry ingredients together and set aside. Mix butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, just until ingredients are combined. Do not over mix. Pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 70 - 80 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
