Apricot Lemon Cake

1 package lemon cake mix
1 3-ounce package lemon gelatin
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup apricot nectar
1 teaspoon lemon extract
4 eggs
Glaze

In a large bowl combine cake mix, gelatin and salt. Add remaining ingredients and beat at low speed until well blended, then beat at medium speed for three full minutes. Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes then remove and cool on rack for 20 additional minutes. Prick cake top with a fork several times and pour glaze over still-warm cake.

Glaze
1 ½ cups confectioners sugar, sifted
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon extract

Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat just until sugar is dissolved and ingredients are blended.
