Cinnamon French Toast
8 thick-slices of day-old French bread
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Beat the eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla together. Dip bread slices into egg mixture then place in hot, buttered skillet. Brown on both sides, turning once. Serve with maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
