Pennsylvania Dutch Corn Bread
¾ cup yellow cornmeal
¾ cup flour
½ cup sugar
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
¾ cup milk
¼ cup butter, melted
1 egg
Mix together cornmeal, flour, sugar and baking powder. In separate bowl mix together milk, butter and egg. Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients, stirring only to moisten. Bake in greased 8-inch pan at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
