Boston Brown Bread
Yield: 2 loaves

2 cups graham or whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour
1/2 cup molasses
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup raisins

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Spoon into two well greased, 1-pound size coffee cans. Each should be half full. Let cans stand 30 minutes, then bake in a 350 degree over for 45-50 minutes. Remove from cans to wire rack to cool.
