Stuffed Cinnamon Raisin French Toast

5 eggs
1 cup light cream or milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
10 slices cinnamon raisin bread
5 Tbsp. cream cheese
1 tsp. cinnamon

Whisk together eggs, cream, vanilla and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Spread 1 Tbsp of cream cheese on each of 5 slices of the bread. Spinkle teh 1 tsp. of cinnamon over cream cheese. Top each with another slice of bread, making a sandwich.

Dip sandwiches into egg mixture, soaking well. Fry in buttered skillet about 5 minutes on each side. Serve with maple syrup.
