Banana Pancakes

1 1/2 cups white flour
1/3 cup whole-wheat flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cups milk
2 ripe bananas; mashed

In a large bowl, combine flours, sugar, salt, baking soda and baking powder. In another bowl, beat together eggs, butter, buttermilk, milk and bananas. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring well. Drop onto a hot, greased griddle, turning once to brown both sides. Serve with melted butter and warmed maple syrup or honey.
